Please take note of all school-wide dress up days. Next week we will be having our winter carnival week as we lead up to our March break with special activities throughout the day.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about another sport. The 8 th grade writing SOL is being given at Walker-Grant the week of March 7-10. Each day of a seemingly normal school week has a theme Like Meme Day, Opposite Day (where students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students), Country vs Country Club, Laker Red Day, Night in vs Night out, Athlete vs Mathlete, Christmas, Anything but a Backpack, and more. Thursday, March 10th: Mathlete vs Athlete Day- Wear your best brainiac outfit or sports uniform/attire. Here in Calloway County High School, spirit days happen often. We will re-open on Monday, March 21 as a 'B' day, Orange Week. Students should wear athletic footwear and clothing. March 14-18 is Spring Break, so schools are closed then. For those we will be meeting us at the APM center our skate will take place from 1-2.īrad Bissett has organized a lacrosse day for all students grades 1-6 on Tuesday, April 10th from 3:00 till 4:30. Next Friday (March 23rd) we are asking that all parents driving students over to the APM center arrive at the school at 1230. To help prepare, Murphy’s has asked for the names of each bowler attending. Please return your son’s permission slip and payment for each bowler to your child’s homeroom teacher before Thursday, March 15th.
